Shipping Information and Refund Policy
Here are some tips to have your cookies delivered successfully:
- Remember that we ship only on weekdays and Saturday (and not on holidays) between 7am to 5pm.
- Make sure that someone will be there to accept the delivery or provide alternate instructions (i.e. leave at back door).
- If you can give us extra time to accomplish your delivery, you can minimize disappointment by unforeseen events.
- Make sure that we have a way to reach you (correct e-mail and/or phone no.) if we have to contact you about your order.
Delivery times and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed due to factors beyond our control. These factors may include, but are not limited to: weather delays, couriers getting stuck in traffic, the courier eating your cookies (this only happened once in 25 years!), etc. We are committed to doing everything reasonable to get your cookies and breads delivered when you want and to the address supplied.
We do everything possible to ship products within 3 business days. Orders are sent via Canada Post , UPS or our driver, depending on your shipping address. Please provide an address where the order may be delivered reliably during business hours, such as your office or home. We can only deliver to a street address. No P.O. Boxes please. Canada Post will not reroute the package once it has been shipped. Additional shipping charges apply to orders that are re-shipped due to an incorrect address or are unclaimed by the recipient. We recommend that customers let recipients know to expect their ShaSha Co. package in order to avoid the order being unclaimed and returned to ShaSha Co.
- If there is a delay in delivery, we will contact you. American and international customers are responsible for any applicable customs charges – please check with your local customs office.
- Please note that if you make a change to the shipping address or method after your order has been prepared for shipment ShaSha Bread Company may not be able to refund your original shipping charges. You may incur additional shipping costs in this case.
Delivery may be delayed if no one is present to accept the delivery (residential or business), or if security provisions in buildings (residential or business) inhibit timely entry. Please consider these factors when placing your order and provide any special instructions. Ship date & Tracking Number We shall email all our customers with shipping track number one day after shipping when the carrier provides us with the tracking number.
Left at Door – Should you request to have your order left at the door, you accept all liability and risk for your order. We do not recommend this method due to weather and theft risks beyond our control. No refund or credit is available for orders left at the door.
All order changes must be made prior to your order being sent with our courier. Please call 416 255 0416 or email us [email protected] for all order changes. If your order has already being picked up by our courier, no refunds or credits are available.
Early Delivery – Should your order arrive one day early from the date you requested, no refund or credit will be available.
Weather Delays – No refund or credit will be available on late deliveries due to severe weather, or transportation issues such as flight delays.
Wrong Address – No refund or credit is available due to wrong addresses submitted to us which resulted in someone else receiving your gift. Additional product and delivery charges will apply for resending your order. Should additional delivery charges be necessary for additional delivery attempts, it will be necessary to charge you for these fees.
P.O. Box – Deliveries to P.O. Boxes are not available.
Cookies Consumed – No refund or credit is available should the cookies be consumed.
Some fragile products like our flat bread Lavash and Snaps do get some damage through shipping but In the unlikely event that the whole package is damaged please call our customer service and we will refund the entire amount of the purchase including, shipping and your cost to return the product to us. In the event that an order shipped by Canada Post is lost en route, we are required to wait for the claim to be processed which can take several weeks.
All information collected by ShaSha Co. is kept confidential. We do not provide our mailing list to any outside organization. We take all the necessary security measures to protect your personal information.
Credit and Refund
For a credit or refund on our cookies/products, they must be returned to us. No refund or credit is available should the cookies be consumed.

Credit Card Payment
The credit card is charged at the time the order is placed. The payment information is sent to the merchant bank immediately for processing. Any applicable exchange rate is calculated by the credit card company e.g. Visa, Mastercard at the time the order is charged.
