The Ontario Food Terminal (located at 165 The Queensway) will open its doors on May 25, from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, for Taste of the Food Terminal, in support of FoodShare Toronto.
For the 2nd year in a row the public is invited to tour the terminal and sample the freshest fruit and vegetables available in Ontario. On a typical day more than 5,000 buyers appear at the crack of dawn to check out the in-season produce from 21 wholesale dealers and more than 400 local farmers! On May 25, you can see the inner workings of the terminal and meet the farmers and dealers behind the scenes. Kids can enjoy interactive games, smoothies, and decorating. Ticket sales are $10 for adults and children are free!
